We don’t often travel to Wasilla, AK for weddings. So, when we do, it’s for a couple we connected with during the video call and we’re so excited about photographing!

Fireweed meadow venue featured a spacious lawn for their outdoor ceremony as well as a large indoor white building with a gorgeous chandelier for the reception. It’s a pretty new venue so Justin and I were excited to check it out!

Call me a sucker or blame the pregnancy hormones but I always cry at weddings STILL. During the ceremony, the officiant talked about the reason the couple chose the colors they decided on for their weddings. Their colors were blue, red, pink, and black all with special meaning behind each one. I thought it was so unique and special. Every wedding is truly different and that’s one of the reasons we love our job.

Nicole and Brandon’s love and admiration for each other truly shined through their images. From Brandon’s emotional reaction as he watched his bride walk down the aisle to the heartfelt hugs, happy tears, and tender moments they shared with their children, every photograph reflected the deep love that surrounds their family.

This wedding was beautiful to be a part of, and we hope the images reflected hoe beautiful the day was.
